Cook Islands: Scientology Volunteer Ministers Tent Back Up
A presentation tent of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers – that had been taken down last month to prevent a legal battle – went up again now after the church clarified its position with the Ministry of Justice of Cook Islands.
Mathew Andrews, Volunteer Ministers Pacific director noted that the earlier objection came from a clique who, instead of meeting with them to sort out the matter elected legal tactics to “forward their agenda”.
“We have met with a number of religious leaders here on Rarotonga as well as many other people and we have struck nothing but goodwill and interest in what we are doing”, he said. The tent with be on display until end of next week.
